Lisa Rae

Originally from the North East, Lisa Rae obtained her Law Degree at Glasgow University. She completed her traineeship in a busy Edinburgh practice from 2008 where she was mentored by a Child Law Specialist. Lisa went on to become Head of Child Law and was shortlisted as ‘Upcoming Solicitor of the Year’ at the 2013 Law Awards of Scotland.

Lisa set up her own firm in 2016 where she focuses on Child and Family Law. Lisa has a wealth of experience in appearing regularly in the Sheriff Court and at Children’s Hearings. She has a special interest in public child law cases and is well regarded in the field. Lisa also provides Child Law training for Diploma Students at Edinburgh University.

Outwith work, Lisa has an interest in theatre, travel, politics and is a keen foodie. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, friends and her cocker spaniel puppy.

Aimee Tulloch

Aimee graduated from The University of Aberdeen in 2017 with her LLB (Hons). She later undertook her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 2019. Whilst studying, Aimee worked at a local law firm gaining knowledge in family law. Aimee is due to qualify as a Solicitor in July 2021. She has already been appearing regularly in the Sheriff Court since October 2020. She has a particular interest in residence, contact and interdict cases. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing and competes competitively in the sport. She also enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and eating out.

Alison Howells

Alison studied her LLB and then her diploma at the University of Edinburgh. Throughout university Alison volunteered at a local charity that supports families separating through mediation, parenting classes and child contact. She has a particular interest in children’s hearings as well as domestic abuse cases and recently had her work on domestic abuse published in the Edinburgh Student Law Review Journal. Alison spends her free time catching up with friends and family, munro bagging and taking her labradoodle out in the outdoors. She also regularly attends gigs and music festivals.

Tracey Brown

Tracey started her career in the legal industry straight from leaving school. She quickly established herself as a legal secretary and has worked in many areas of law over her career. Tracey became an Office Manageress in a busy personal injury firm in 2002. She then qualified as a reparation paralegal in 2003. Tracey had her family in 2012 so then returned to being a part time Legal Secretary. Tracey has worked in family law since 2014 and is highly knowledgeable in the area. Tracey has a friendly, approachable and helpful manner. In her spare time Tracey is extremely busy with her two children doing a range of fun activities and hobbies.
